Lissette will focus on:
 

• Supporting First Responders
  Ensure Downey's police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders have the support they need to protect the community.
   

• Preventing Crime
  Strengthen neighborhood safety and crime-prevention efforts that help address problems before they escalate.
   

• Improving Traffic Safety
  Increase attention to speeding, dangerous driving, and traffic enforcement in residential and community areas.
   

• Building Stronger Partnerships
  Encourage cooperation between residents, businesses, schools, neighborhood groups, and public safety officials.
